“The Fishing Boys”

In the dim stillness of the mangrove forest, shadows envelop the scene until beams of sunlight pierce through the canopy. In this light, boys work side by side, passing their catch from hand to hand. What was once hidden in darkness emerges as a living tapestry of unity, tradition, and youthful resilience. Here, light does more than illuminate. It transforms, guiding the eye and spirit from obscurity to clarity, from quiet toil to a vision of hope.

South Asia’s largest Eid-ul-Fitr Congregation held in Gor-e-Shahid Boro Math, Dinajpur, Bangladesh. According to the organizers’ claim, over 600,000 devotees participated in this Eid congregation. The prayers began at 8:30 am with devotees coming from different parts of the region. Eid-ul-Fitr is a Muslim festival of happiness celebrated all over the world.

2nd Place

Tasos Michaloglou
“Children of the sky”

The nightsky with its mysteries is calling us to follow the shiny stars. In the darkness of the night, a spark ignites and unites us around the same fire, the same centre, the same purpose.

3rd Place

Erez Biton
“Dance on the wings of the wind”

I took the picture while I was on a Raffa parachute called “Bakai”. What caught my eye at that moment was the wonderful combination between the flock of migratory birds that seem to be dancing in perfect synchronization with the man floating with the parachute. The unity between man and nature, between movement and light, between expression and man, between the mechanical and the natural. They all fly with the help of the wind, moving in a unified dance movement in the sky
